Zoey Deutch is engaged to fellow actor and comedian Jimmy Tatro.

The *Set It Up* star, 30, revealed that Tatro popped the question three months ago in a joint Instagram post with her future husband, 33. The post features a carousal of images from the proposal, including of Deutch's ring.

Deutch and Tatro, best known for his roles on *American Vandal *and* Home Economics, *went public with their relationship in 2021.**

Deutch's mother, actress Lea Thompson, celebrated the impending nuptials in her own Instagram post, writing that the family is "overjoyed" about the engagement. "Jimmy we love you so much and you guys are such a beautiful combination," Thompson wrote, calling Tatro "funny, kind, and thoughtful."

"May your love help make the world better," the actress added. "It's made mine better! I am so glad Zoey and you have each other."**

Deutch is the daughter of Thompson and her longtime husband Howard Deutch, the veteran filmmaker who directed John Hughes' *Pretty in Pink *and *Some Kind of Wonderful,* among other projects.**

Deutch shed some insight into her relationship with Tatro in 2022, revealing on an appearance on the *U Up?* podcast that she and her partner were "polar opposites."

"I would be so bored if I was dating someone who agreed with me on everything and thought everything the same to me," she said. "I'd be so bored by that."

Deutch and Tatro's engagement post prompted congratulations in the comments section from famous pals Vanessa Hudgens, Sarah Hyland, Brenda Song, Maude Apatow, Tan France, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and Topher Grace, among others.

Tatro's most recent credits include movies *You're Cordially Invited, California King,* and *The Real Bros of Simi Valley*, the latter of which also starred Deutch. Deutch recently appeared in the movies *Something from Tiffany's, The Threesome,* and Clint Eastwood's *Juror #2.***
