Eric Stonestreet is a married man! The *Modern Family* star revealed he recently tied the knot with longtime love Lindsay Schweitzer.

Stonestreet shared his big news with fans on his Instagram page Tuesday, which also happens to be the actor's 54th birthday.

"It's my birthday and guess what I got," Stonestreet captioned the sweet wedding photos.

In the carousel of images, Stonestreet is wearing a fitted navy blazer with a blue tie, while Schweitzer, a pediatric nurse, stuns in a satin gown with crystal belt detailing. The first photo shows Stonestreet solo before revealing the newlyweds in the second slide, with the words 'I got married!' across the photo.

The third slide shows the couple's first kiss as husband and wife, followed by their first dance in front of several musicians with acoustic guitars, the couple posed outside their venue, and finally, a photo of Schweitzer holding onto Stonestreet as he gazes down at her with the words, "The Stonestreets" written across the bottom.

The comments under Stonestreet's post were filled with congratulations messages from the actor's friends and costars, including his *Modern Family* husband Jesse Tyler Ferguson.

"Of all second marriages, this one is my favorite! I love you both! I'm so happy for you!!!!" Ferguson wrote. His real-life husband Justin Mikita also shared the love, commenting, "Congrats!"**

The newlyweds tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at their dream home in Kansas City, Mo., four years after getting engaged. The pair met and began dating in 2016, before they got engaged in August 2021.

While chatting with PEOPLE in January, Stonestreet revealed that the pair was waiting for construction on their dream house to finish so they could host their wedding.

"We talk about [the wedding] all the time, of how we would do it, and where we would sit, and how Sofia [Vergara] [would be] dancing out on our lawn," he said of his *Modern Family* costar at the time. "Whatever it is, we think about it all the time."

"Right from the beginning of when we started building the house, [the wedding] was like, right at the top of the list of things that we imagined happening here," Stonestreet added.

The two-time Emmy winner explained, "We definitely want to have a celebration with all of our friends. But it was, 'We're going to get married.' And then it was like, 'Oh my God, we got this land. Let's build a house. Do you want a wedding or a house? Can we do both at one time?' And she being as great as she is, she's like, 'I'd rather build a house with you.' And I'm like, 'Me too.'"
