If the Giuseppe marionette from *And Just Like That* is still giving you the kind of nightmares that plague Sebastiano Pigazzi's character, don't worry. It can't hurt you.
The subject matter came up during a conversation with series creator Michael Patrick King and ** ahead of the show's final episode, which dropped last week on HBO Max. "I think it's in a box somewhere waiting for season 4," King says. "It's gonna be waiting a long time."
In the 10th episode of season 3, which turned into the series' last season, the future fiancé of Anthony (Mario Cantone) is forced to leave his apartment after watching in horror as his roommate, a much older marionette maker, pleasures himself to the marionette version of Giuseppe he made.
According to King, the doll was "a handcrafted, skilled thing" that became quite expensive to pull off.

"I will tell you, the puppet was almost the most expensive guest star we've ever had on the show," he tells EW. "The puppet was almost more than Patti LuPone. I'm telling you." The Broadway icon played Giuseppe's mother who constantly sparred with Anthony and opposed that relationship.
Unlike the classic tutu worn by Sarah Jessica Parker's Carrie Bradshaw, which sits in a glass display case on King's wall in his Hollywood office, "I'm not gonna have the puppet in a glass case," he jests.

*And Just Like That *ended up the second of a two-part finale on Thursday last week, showing Carrie embrace the idea of being single for the rest of her life. King explained the meaning behind that conclusion as a nod bad to the ending of *Sex and the City* when the character says in narration, "The most exciting, challenging, and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. And if you find someone to love the you you love, well...that's just fabulous."
"It's like an answer, it's a callback, it's an echo," he said. "All these years later, she's finally at the place where she sees that that is true. You're not alone, even if you have no one. You're on your own. That's when I knew we were gonna wrap it up."
