Young people, beware of Aubrey Plaza.

The *Parks and Recreation* alum revealed on Friday's episode of *The Drew Barrymore Show* that she has quite the odd holiday tradition.

"I do a thing where, on Christmas morning, I dress up like the Christmas witch, which is my other book series," said Plaza, who was promoting the latest children's book she's co-written, *Luna and the Witch Throw a Halloween Party*.**

Barrymore said she's a fan of Plaza's books, which also include 2021's* The Legend of the Christmas Witch* and, from 2022, *The Return of the Christmas Witch*.

She has real-life material to pull from.****"Basically, I have my friends sign up for slots on Christmas morning if they have kids, and I show up when they're opening their presents around 7:30 in the morning," Plaza said, "and then I try to steal their presents, and so it adds this element of, you know, fright on Christmas morning, which kids love."

The *Honey Don't!* and *My Old Ass* actress added, "They always fight back."

Plaza is known for her funny talk show appearances, including one on *The View* this week, in which she announced that she was the ghost cohost Joy Behar once claimed to have been intimate with.

"Well, Joy, the thing that you didn't know is that you didn't have sex with my ex-ghost, you had sex with me. I was the ghost!" Plaza said. "I'm a shapeshifter and I was the ghost you had sex with."**

On *Drew*, Plaza also addressed her status as what Barrymore said was the most famous person from her home state.

"Thank you, I will reign as queen of Delaware forever," Plaza said, "and, unfortunately for Joe Biden, he's lost every time and he even lost to me while he was the sitting vice president, and I still beat him. I beat him every year and it tortures him inside. I'm sure it's all he thinks about at night."
