- *Wednesday *season 2, part 2 dropped on Netflix on Wednesday, Sept. 3.

- Lady Gaga finally makes her debut as Rosaline Rotwood.

- The singer also released a new song for the show called "The Dead Dance."

The wait is finally over! *Wednesday *season 2, part 2 is now streaming on Netflix.

Comprised of four episodes, part 2 is packed with plenty of unexpected twists, supernatural surprises, and a whole lot of teen angst courtesy of Jenna Ortega's iconic Wednesday Addams. Audiences will be thrilled to see a few surprise cameos, too, including Gwendoline Christie's return as Larissa Weems (now Wednesday's spirit guide).

However, the main event is Lady Gaga.

When news of the Oscar winner's casting broke in November 2024, Little Monsters and *Addams Family* enthusiasts alike started counting down the days until the season 2 premiere. She was absent in the season's first batch of episodes, but now that the final four are streaming, Gaga has officially arrived at Nevermore.

Here's everything to know about Gaga's character on *Wednesday*.

After months of fan theories, Netflix officially confirmed at its Tudum event in May that Lady Gaga had joined *Wednesday *season 2 as Rosaline Rotwood, a "legendary Nevermore teacher" who ultimately encounters the titular heroine herself.

Part 2 of *Wednesday *season 2 throws viewers back into the chaos of Wednesday's life. Stripped of her powers and more vulnerable than ever, Wednesday is racing against time to stop the possible death of her werewolf roommate, Enid Sinclair (Emma Myers).

In episode 6, Wednesday's grandmama, Hester Frump (Joanna Lumley), advises her to seek out the grave of Rosaline Rotwood, a deceased seer from Nevermore's past who might be able to help her.

At Rosaline's grave, Wednesday encounters a Latin inscription: "Be warned. Should my gaze be broken, a deadly trick I will play." Naturally, she recites it aloud in hopes of regaining her second sight.

That's when Gaga makes her entrance as Rosaline Rotwood, a pale and ghostly presence cloaked in all white. Though willing to assist, Rosaline wastes no time in calling Wednesday out: "The crack in your monochrome armor is your overbearing arrogance."

She offers a risky solution: Wednesday can temporarily regain her powers by placing her palm over an enchanted flame — but the spell must remain unbroken. "If you pull your palm from the flame, you will break the Raven's gaze, and there will be a price to pay," Rosaline warns.

Just as Wednesday begins the ritual, Enid arrives and disrupts the spell. Wednesday instinctively withdraws her hand. As the two pass out, Rosaline's voice echoes ominously: "There will be a price to pay."

In an instant, the girls find that they're living in their very own *Freaky Friday*, having swapped bodies. As a result, Enid (as Wednesday) rocks bright colors and dances around school before the real Wednesday (as Enid) learns how to reverse the body swap. By the end of the episode, the girls return to their original bodies, and all is back to normal (for now).

Speaking to * *earlier this year, Gaga confirmed her appearance on the show, adding that she had a great time working with Ortega. "I don't want to give away anything about being part of the show," she said in March. "I want to keep it extra secret — but, I love Jenna, and I really had an amazing time!"

What song did Lady Gaga release for *Wednesday *season 2, part 2?

Alongside her cameo in *Wednesday *season 2, Gaga also released a new original song titled "The Dead Dance" on Sept. 3. She first announced the track during Spotify and Netflix's *Wednesday *Graveyard Gala in New York City.

"I'm thrilled to release this song alongside *Wednesday*," she told attendees. "I'm a huge fan of the show and had so much fun appearing in it to support 'The Dead Dance.'"

The song plays in episode 7 of *Wednesday *season 2 during a lively dance scene featuring Enid and Wednesday's obsessive fan, Agnes (Evie Templeton).

Speaking to Tudum, the "Abracadabra" singer revealed that her new song was inspired by a breakup. "It was all about the way that we sometimes feel when it's over; how a relationship ending can kill our ability to feel hopeful about love."

She continued, "It's got this really cool, funky beat underneath it. And that is when the song becomes not just about the relationship; it becomes about having fun with your friends when you've been through something tough and amazing."

A music video for the song, directed by *Wednesday *executive producer and director Tim Burton, also premiered on Sept. 3. Set in a graveyard filled with unsettling porcelain dolls, the video features Gaga with skin styled to appear like cracked ceramic, performing the track in a haunting fashion.

Where can I watch Wednesday?

The first two seasons of *Wednesday *are now available to stream on Netflix.
