Amy Poehler loves weddings — even fake ones.
Aubrey Plaza recently appeared on Poehler's podcast *Good Hang* and teased her old friend for crying over her onscreen wedding on *Parks and Recreation.*
On season 3 episode 9 of the sitcom, April (Plaza) and Andy (Chris Pratt) surprise everyone with their wedding. Leslie (Poehler) tries to sabotage the wedding, believing it to be a bad idea, but later relents. In reality, Plaza said Poehler "literally cried all day" out of joy.

"I cried that much?" the *Saturday Night Live *alum asked. "I was so happy you were in love."
The *Agatha All Along* star recalled telling showrunner Michael Schur during season 1 that April loved Andy, even though the TV couple hadn't gotten together yet.
"April thinks Andy is cool because he's so not cool that he's cool," Plaza said.

Poehler explained how the couple was first put together on the show. On season 2 episode 10, the rest of the Pawnee Parks Department go hunting while April and Andy stay at City Hall. The *Honey Don't!* actress said it was "so fun" to film that first romantic scene.
"They put you guys in the office and just said, 'Let's see what happens to these two characters when they hang out,'" Poehler recalled. "Basically the chemistry that those characters had was the building block for why they eventually became, like, the real romantic love story of the show."
