Selena Gomez is in her grateful-for-Taylor Swift era.

On Monday, the *Only Murders in the Building* actress shared behind-the-scenes footage of the women celebrating together at Gomez's wedding to Benny Blanco. The couple married Sept. 27 in Santa Barbara, just six days before Swift dropped her album *The Life of a Showgirl.*

In the first scene, Swift comments on how stunning Gomez looks, while the beaming bride marvels, "I'm getting married... finally!"

In another image, the two are sipping drinks — again, in the dressing room. The third photo shows them hugging in different dresses.

Swift's already-hit album — specifically the song "The Fate of Ophelia" — is featured in the last photo.**

After the event, Swift was among those who gave a speech, PEOPLE reported. Other celebrities in attendance included Ed Sheeran, Steve Martin, Martin Short, Paul Rudd, Zoe Saldaña, and Édgar Ramírez.**

Gomez and Swift have been friends since 2008, when they double-dated with Jonas brothers. The *Wizards of Waverly Place *star went out with Nick Jonas, while Swift was out with his older brother, Joe.

They've been photographed together over the years, attending awards shows together, and Swift even bringing Gomez, who's also a singer, out at her concerts.

Both Swift and Gomez give each other an early listen to their new music.

"She played me *Fearless* before it came out," Gomez said of Swift's 2008 album. "And I remember that feeling because ever since then, we have been best friends. And to see where I am and for her to see where I am is such a beautiful — it's just so great."

**For Swift's part, she's raved about Gomez's music, too.

In August 2023, she wrote on her Instagram Story, "When your bestie is the bestest." alongside scenes from Gomez's video for "Single Soon. "Will be dancing to this forever methinks."
