TLC's new reality TV series, Dangerously Obese, premiered on Oct. 22 — and many viewers wondered: How is Natalie Sconyers doing now?
On Wednesday, Season 1, Episode 1 of the show aired, and TLC fans were introduced to Sconyers, 28, of Tifton, Ga.

"Big Fine is my other name," she explained in the episode. "It was gifted to me, you know, guys I would date. You know, you walk by, they say, 'Oh, OK, Big Fine.' I'll take it.'"
So, how is Natalie "Big Fine" Sconyers faring today?
Natalie 'Big Fine' Sconyers Appeared in 'Dangerously Obese' Season 1, Episode 1
At the beginning of the episode, Sconyers introduced viewers to her boyfriend, Wendell, as well as her bed-bound mother, Felicia, who was also dangerously obese. She also explained that she has been overweight her whole life—and Sconyers tipped the scale at 655 pounds during her first onscreen weigh-in.
"Every single time I leave the house, it is a whole production," she told producers. "I've got to walk and move in short bursts, and I've got to lean over and rest every few seconds or so. You know, a small errand, it can honestly take a few hours. But I want to do more."
She sought the help of bariatric surgeon Dr. Charles Procter—known for appearing on 1000-Lb Sisters and 1000-Lb Best Friends—in Atlanta, Ga., to finally drop the weight after years of unsuccessful dieting.

Unfortunately, Sconyers' progress did not get off to a good start. She did a follow-up weight check at a nearby veterinary clinic because it had a scale large enough for her. There, she weighed 667 pounds—gaining 12 pounds since her first visit with Dr. Procter.
Not long afterward, Dr. Procter made a home visit to help her mom, Felicia, get started on her weight loss journey after spending a whole year in bed. Mother and daughter then embarked on their wellness journey together.
Another follow-up at Dr. Procter's office revealed that Sconyers weighed 596 pounds. The agreement was for her to get under 600 pounds in order for her to qualify for weight loss surgery—and she did it!

Felicia also qualified for weight loss surgery after she kept her end of the bargain with the bariatric surgeon: She was able to walk into Dr. Procter's office.
'Dangerously Obese': How Is Natalie 'Big Fine' Sconyers Doing Now?
As of writing, Sconyers doesn't appear to have any public social media profiles. (It's possible TLC may eventually follow up with her, similar to what My 600-Lb Life did with its "Where Are They Now?" episodes.) She weighed 505 pounds at the end of her Dangerously Obese, with a goal of getting down to 180 pounds.
Felicia, meanwhile, weighed 520 pounds at the start of her journey; she lost 134 pounds after undergoing weight loss surgery.
Hopefully, both Sconyers and Felicia will continue to make positive progress on their weight loss journeys after appearing on Dangerously Obese. We wish her the best!
