- Joseph Sikora says Tommy Egan's "at a place of incredible revenge" when the final season of *Power Book IV: Force* begins.

- Showrunner Gary Lennon calls the series finale "a wild ride."
Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora) thought he had Chicago under control — until the woman he loves was taken.
"He's at a place of incredible revenge," *Power Book IV: Force* star Joseph Sikora tells **. When season 3 begins, Tommy is cornered: Mireya (Carmela Zumbado) has been taken by her brother, Miguel Garcia (Manuel Eduardo Ramírez), the authorities are closing in, and his family is falling apart. If he wants to become king of Chicago, he has a long road ahead.
"Going into season 3, Tommy's biggest ally is himself," Sikora explains, "In his mind, it would have been him and Mireya off into the sunset, but as of right now, Tommy is betting on himself."

Kate Egan's hospitalization further fractures Tommy's already strained bond with his half-brother JP (Anthony Fleming III). Their relationship was damaged by the danger JP's son, D-Mac (Lucien Cambric), faced in Tommy's world. "They couldn't be farther apart," Sikora says, setting the stage for a long road to reconciliation between the half-brothers. Still, showrunner Gary Lennon says it is the relationship with Kate that will the hardest for Tommy to repair.
A more pressing concern will be finding out what happened to Mireya and what it means now that her relationship with Tommy is out in the open. "The question really is: Will she or won't she be able to handle herself in this world?" Lennon teases.
Sikora adds, "It's not only that something bad happened to Mireya, but in Tommy's mind, it's that Miguel has her and Tommy doesn't truly know what he's capable of. This guy is a psychopath."

Sikora sees Tommy's relationship with Mireya as the evolution of his past romances in the* Power *universe, with Holly Weaver's (Lucy Walters) spiritual appearance last season marking the legitimacy of his new love. With Holly, Tommy was his wild, unfiltered self; with LaKeisha Grant (La La Anthony), he found someone from his world who loved him anyway. "There was a familiarity there that Tommy didn't have with Holly," he recalls.
"In some ways, Mireya is the culmination of those two major relationships. She is both of those things," he says. As a nurse, Mireya has built a life apart from the streets, yet she remains tied to Tommy's world through her family. They're in love — but as the teaser shows her back out in the world after being in danger, the looming question is: What will she choose?

Joseph Sikora thinks Tommy 'could die at any moment' on 'Power Book IV: Force'

Shanti "Showstopper" Page's (Adrienne Walker) loyalty is murky at best, especially given her role in Mireya's abduction. "Ultimately, she's there to service herself and so she thinks people in general are disposable," Lennon says. "The nice thing about Shanti is that she's quite smart, so when one person makes a move, she may have a countermove to make that will be just as brutal and surprising."

Her cutthroat nature is what Tommy respects even if it's the reason he may have to take her out. "Tommy respects the game, that Shanti is able to hold things down and keep her criminal enterprise," he says. "He likes being around that part of the game, but I don't think that Shanti fills the Liliana void in his life by any stretch."
Tommy and Shanti have another thing in common: being in the middle of brothers David "Diamond" Sampson (Isaac Keys) and Jenard Sampson (Kris D. Lofton). Tommy is a wildcard in the mix as the brothers try to mend their brotherhood. "[Tommy's] got a lot of love for Diamond and a lot of animosity for Jenard, but at the same time he's wise enough to respect that threat that is Jenard and see that Diamond's loyalties may not strictly lie with Tommy," Sikora explains.
The decision to keep Victor "Vic" Flynn (Shane Harper) alive after word got out about him being a snitch is a potential point of conflict between Diamond and Tommy. Lennon calls the answer to the question of what Tommy is planning for Vic "a great reveal."

Sikora sees his planning as evidence of Tommy tapping to what he learned alongside Ghost (Omari Hardwick) when they were coming up. "Tommy has always had this ability to decipher street moves, to be both the brains and the brawn. It's just that Ghost took care of one thing and Tommy took care of the other," he explains.

Tommy may have played Vic and the authorities, but this season, they will be hungrier than ever to put him behind bars. "We wanted to really portray Tommy as getting smarter with his moves as he moves up in the criminal world, and he has some new tricks up his sleeve," Lennon explains.
As for how it all ends, the team says fans will not be disappointed. "It's a great ride. It's a wild ride," Lennon says when asked about the upcoming series finale.

Sikora references how Courtney Kemp brought New York City to life onscreen with the original *Power *series. "Gary was able to do that for the city of Chicago, so I think the city is going to be happy, ecstatic actually, with season 3," he says, "Our season will be blessed by the city of Chicago, so it will be accepted by the rest of the world."
*Power Book IV: Force* premieres its final season Nov. 7 on Starz.
