Noah and Joanne are officially in the happily ever after ... or whatever you call that phase of a relationship where you've decided you love each other and now you have to figure out pretty much everything else.
In season 1 of *Nobody Wants This*, audiences watched as aggressively honest podcast host Joanne (Kristen Bell) fell for surprisingly suave rabbi Noah (Adam Brody). In the finale, after Joanne tried to end things so that Noah could achieve all of his career goals, he chased her down and, to put it simply, chose her. So now what?
Netflix has released the first trailer for the highly anticipated second season of the series, which sees Noah and Joanne merging friend groups, hosting dinner parties, dealing with disagreements, and much more. As Joanne puts it to Morgan (Justine Lupe) in the trailer, "Noah and I are figuring out how to be a we."

But Noah and Joanne aren't the only focus of this story. Outside of the main cast — which also features Lupe, Timothy Simons, and Jackie Tohn, among others — season 2 will add a few new faces to the mix. The trailer offers a very brief first look at Seth Rogen's role on the show, which is still being kept under wraps, and gives us a glimpse of Leighton Meester.
Brody's real-life wife joins the show as Abby, who's been described as Joanne's middle school nemesis. As Bell previously told * *about working with Meester, "I know Leighton's extremely talented, but I did not anticipate what a comedic sniper she was gonna be. She is effervescent in that episode."

As for the season's overall approach, new showrunner Jenni Konner, who joins season 2 alongside fellow showrunner Bruce Eric Kaplan, previously told EW, "There are high stakes and then there are things that are stakes in every relationship, which is like the first dinner party and who's going to get along."

'Nobody Wants This' creator breaks down her 3 favorite season 1 moments

Speaking to how the season might differ from season 1, Konner continued, "I didn't want to change the show at all. I loved it. The way I approach everything I work on, if I haven't written it, is that I need an incredibly clear, strong, unique voice and that is [creator] Erin [Foster] in a nutshell, so that drew me to it immediately. I was just like, 'More of the same!'"
