Lil Nas X is facing four felony charges following his Thursday arrest, when he was allegedly spotted roaming the streets of Los Angeles in nothing but his underwear and cowboy boots.
The rapper, whose real name is Montero Hill, was charged with three counts of battery against a police officer and one count of resisting an executive officer, ** has learned.
At his Monday arraignment, the musician pleaded not guilty to all four charges and, per Reuters, his bail has been set at $75,000. A Los Angeles judge has additionally ruled that Hill must attend Narcotics Anonymous meetings upon his release.
Representatives for Lil Nas X did not immediately respond to EW's request for comment.
The charges come days after the rapper was arrested in Studio City, where officers alleged they found the 26-year-old walking nude on Ventura Boulevard shortly before 6 a.m. on Thursday. Authorities claim he charged at the officers when confronted, leading to his arrest. Suspecting a possible overdose, police reportedly transported the musician to a local hospital, where he spent several hours before being taken to jail.

TMZ was the first to report that the rapper was seen wandering the streets of L.A., sharing video footage of Lil Nas X captured by a passerby. A subsequent video from the outlet saw the man believed to be the "Old Town Road" singer fully naked, having shed the boots and underpants worn in the initial footage. (An individual who claimed to be present for the rapper's walk grabbed the boots from the street and listed them for sale on eBay, seeking $10,000.)
Prior to his arrest, Lil Nas X wiped his Instagram page before making several cryptic posts that caught the attention of fans. He additionally shared snippets of unreleased songs and photos from inside his home, leading to speculation about a new album.

The Atlanta-born rapper originally rose to prominence with the release of his 2018 country rap single "Old Town Road," and later enlisted country star Billy Ray Cyrus for a remix that would become the longest-running No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 and win the rapper two Grammys, for Best Pop Duo and Best Music Video.

Lil Nas X was subsequently signed by Columbia Records and released his debut studio album, *Montero*, in 2021. His most recent release was the EP* Days Before Dreamboy, *which debuted in March.**
