Lady Gaga was forced to postpone the concert she had planned for Miami's Kaseya Center at the last minute Wednesday, citing problems with her voice.

"Hi everyone, I am really so so sorry but I need to postpone tonight's show in Miami," she began a lengthy post to her Instagram Story. "During rehearsal last night and my vocal warmup tonight my voice was extremely strained and both my [doctor] and vocal coach have advised me not to go on because of the risk it poses."

The 14-time Grammy winner is currently on "The Mayhem Ball" tour supporting her album,* Mayhem*, which she released in March. The next concerts she listed on her website are Sept. 6 and 7 at Madison Square Garden in NYC.

In her message to fans, Gaga said her previous tour dates have taken a toll on her vocal health.

"I want to be hardcore and just push through this for you but I don't want to risk long term or permanent damage on my vocal cords," Gaga continued. "There is significant risk based on all our combined experience with a show like ours and as you know I sing live every night – and even though this was a hard and agonizing decision I would be more afraid of the long term implications on my voice. I hope you can forgive me and accept my sincerest apologies for any disappointment, let down, inconvenience."**

A representative for the singer confirmed to* * that the show was "canceled about an hour prior to showtime," with Gaga informing fans at 7:50 p.m. ahead of planning to take the stage sometime between 8:40-9 p.m.

The show's scheduled start time was listed as 8 p.m. with doors opening an hour earlier. The venue, Kaseya Center, posted on X at 8:16 to announce the postponement.**

**The Miami show that was canceled was supposed to be the third of three in that city, scheduled for Aug. 31, Sept. 1, and Sept. 3. Gaga said her team is trying to reschedule the show "as quickly as possible" and hoped fans could "accept my sincere regretful apology."**

The "Die With a Smile" singer kicked off her tour on July 16 in Paradise. Nev., and it's scheduled to conclude in Jan. 30 in Tokyo.

The same day, she dropped the song "The Dead Dance," along with a video directed by director Tim Burton, who's known for crafting spooky worlds in movies such as *Beetlejuice *and *Edward Scissorhands*, and TV's *Wednesday*. The track — and its famous cowriter — appear in the second season of the Netflix series, which is streaming now.**
