Tom Sandoval has high hopes for his former *Vanderpump Rules* costar Brittany Cartwright's chances on a very different reality show, *Special Forces: World's Toughest Test*.

"I think she'll do great," Sandoval, who appeared on season 2 of *Special Forces*, tells **. "I think she'll probably surprise herself. I mean, I think everybody that goes on there does."

Sandoval himself competed in 2023, following the eruption of scandal on the series he been a part of from 2013 until 2024.

At the time, he said he was on the reality show that features celebrities attempting the training exercises that Special Forces operatives face. The challenges are as physically grueling as they are mentally taxing.**

"It's gonna be really tough," Sandoval warned. "I mean, it was one of the hardest things I've ever done in my life. So they run you and they run you and they run you, and then when you feel like you can't go anymore, they just, they push you harder. They get you way past your breaking point."

Sandoval, who said he was there to make himself better following the scandal, made it to the season finale before the staff agents dismissed him.

Cartwright was on the much more relaxed (but sometimes challenging in other ways) setting of *VPR* from 2015 to 2020 and appeared again in a 2024 episode.

*Special Forces* was nothing like that.

"Soooooo I did a thing!" Cartwright wrote on social media when the cast was announced. "Ahhhh watch me get my A** kicked on Season 4."**

Sandoval is, of course, familiar from other reality shows, too, including murder-mystery competition series *The Traitors*, which he competed on earlier this year. He was eliminated from that show just before the finale.

He approved of the announcement this month that applications were being accepted for a non-celebrity season to air on NBC.

"Sure. Why not? I think it's awesome," Sandoval said. "I'm hoping, actually, maybe my girlfriend can get on there, Victoria. I think she would do really well."

The TV star has dated model Victoria Lee Robinson since at least 2024, according to social media.**
