*The Kelly Clarkson Show* will return to television later this month.
Kelly Clarkson's daytime talk show will begin production on its seventh season the week of Sept. 8, with the season premiere airing on Monday, Sept. 29, NBC has announced.
The first week of new episodes will honor survivors of the recent floods in Texas with "surprise moments," according to a press release. Clarkson was previously set to perform at Band Together Texas, a benefit concert organized by Miranda Lambert and Parker McCollum, but she dropped out of it after the death of her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, on Aug. 7.

Blackstock, who previously worked as Clarkson's manager and shared two children with her, died last month at age 48 from malignant melanoma. He and Clarkson were married from 2013 to 2022.
"Brandon bravely battled cancer for more than three years," a representative for the family told ** in a statement. "He passed away peacefully and was surrounded by family. We thank you for your thoughts and prayers and ask everyone to respect the family's privacy during this very difficult time."

Clarkson first launched her talk show in 2019. The series has garnered 22 Daytime Emmy Awards to date, including four wins for the singer's hosting talents.
Clarkson is also set to serve as a judge on season 29 of *The Voice*, which is currently in the midst of production alongside this year's season 28. Clarkson took a brief absence from the series last month following Blackstock's death, with Jennifer Hudson filling in for her.
