- Kirsten Dunst, Gabrielle Union, Lindsay Sloane, and Jesse Bradford all reunited for a Q&A in Los Angeles to celebrate the teen-comedy classic.

Eliza Dushku wasn't able to reunite with her *Bring It On* costars for the 25th anniversary of the beloved cheerleading classic — and she has a surprising excuse for missing the fun.

The actress, who played Missy Pantone in the film, revealed that her new line of work prevented her from joining in on the festivities this year.

"Ahhh, you beauties~ and still total cuties!! Sorry to have missed the 25-year *Bring It On *reunion with you all!" she wrote in an Instagram Story.

"I just started my official new counseling/behavioral therapist job last week and spent the weekend deep in glorious documentation + session prep," the *Buffy the Vampire Slayer* star explained.

Gabrielle Union, who played Isis in the film, shared her support for Dushku's endeavors in her own Instagram Story.

"So proud of you, @elizadushku !!!" the actress wrote. "Always a badass! Congratulations on your new job!"

Union appeared alongside her *Bring It On* costars Kirsten Dunst, Jesse Bradford, and Lindsay Sloane at a 25th-anniversary screening of the film at the Alamo Drafthouse theater in Los Angeles this week.

"Bring it? We never stopped," Union wrote in the caption of a photo of the quartet on Instagram, alongside the hashtag "#25yearslater."

Sloane also commemorated the occasion with an Instagram post. "Look who is still sexy and cute and popular to boot," the actress, who played Big Red, wrote. "We got the *Bring It On* gang back together."

Bradford, who portrayed Dushku's onscreen brother Cliff Pantone, also shared photos from the event. "*Bring It On* was 25 years ago," he wrote alongside an embarrassed emoji.

Nicole Bilderback, who played Whitney Dow, did not attend the reunion event, but she sent her warm wishes in a comment on Union's post. "L-O-V-E!!! That's a good-looking cast right there!" she wrote. "So bummed I wasn't there. Big hugs, Gab, and I really hope I see you soon!!"

Dushku, whose last screen roles were in 2017 in the TV movie *The Saint* and on an episode of the series *Bull, *announced in June that she had graduated with her master's degree from Lesley University in Cambridge, Mass.

The actress announced on Instagram that her accomplishment "feels like more than an achievement — it feels like a deep calling realized. True growth, energy, and passion — manifested."

"After nearly a decade of inner work and building a new life," she said, "I'm so grateful for this moment in time."**
