David Duchovny is married!

The actor and writer, 65, confirmed that he wed his partner, florist Monique Pendleberry, earlier this year during a recent appearance on *Today with Jenna & Friends* to discuss his new book of poems, *About Time,* available on bookshelves now.

"By the way, you got married this year," co-anchor Savannah Guthrie said. "Congratulations."

"I did, in February," Duchovny confirmed. "Thank you."**

When asked if any of the love poems in his new collection are about the missus, Duchovny said, "No, no. You know, it's funny. I was checking Amazon sales on the way here this morning and it said I was a No. 1 love poet. That's just such a joke because there is no other love poet out there, so I'm one of one."**

The *X-Files* star and Pendleberry, who has a business based in Malibu, Calif., have been romantically linked since 2017. The two, who did not publicly announce their engagement, are known to be private about their relationship, but have stepped out together at red carpet events, including the 2023 premiere of the actor's Netflix film *You People.*

This is Duchovny's second marriage. He was previously married to actress Téa Leoni between 1997 and 2014. The former couple share two children: daughter West, 26, also an actress, and son Kyd, 23.

Duchovny's most recent screen credits include films* Pet Sematary: Bloodlines, What Happens Later, *and *Adam the First,* as well as the HBO miniseries *The Sympathizer.* The Emmy nominee has also authored several novels, including *The Reservoir *and *Bucky F*cking Dent.*

"I was writing poems in high school — terrible poems," Duchovny said of his foray into the poetry genre on *Today* "None of those are in the book. It was a way for me to try to talk about things that felt almost too deep for words ... it was a very private way of speaking to myself, I guess."
