Universal Halloween Horror Nights 2025 will not only scare the crap out of you, it will assault your senses.

**'s exclusive first look at the annual horror spectacle confirms that the team will pump in the insane scents of iron-laden blood, bleached-and-salted human flesh, and *actual crap* across IP-related houses inspired by *Terrifier*, *Five Nights at Freddy's*, *Fallout*,* Friday the 13th*, and WWE: The Horrors of the Wyatt Sicks.

In EW's exclusive preview of this year's event — which takes place at both Universal Studios Florida in Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood in Universal City, Calif. — creative team member Lora Sauls promises that the 2025 edition "is going to absolutely scare people, massively."

Sauls kicks off her preview with a look at an intense house inspired by *Friday the 13th* that, of course, features slasher icon Jason Voorhees. The event highlight has pushed her team's limits and culminates in a scene that puts guests in a chase scene with "multitudes of Jasons from films 1-8."**

"We're taking you to all those classic places," Sauls says. "Jason's kill shack, Camp Crystal Lake, into the cabins, and then we're going through the Horror Inc. mask. And it's a gauntlet of Jasons!"

Welcome to 'Five Nights at Freddy's' Halloween Horror Nights haunted house.

Not only do the *Five Nights at Freddy's *experiences at HHN* *incorporate recreations of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza and its horrific interior, it marks a landmark collaboration with Jim Henson's Creature Shop to build "exact replicas" of homicidal characters like Freddy, Foxy, Bonnie, Chica, and Cupcake.

The characters are huge, and they're "strictly [represented as] animatronics and puppeted characters in our house."

"Freddy will step forward and swipe at us," Sauls exclaims.

Sauls reveals that Amazon specifically requested to include a secret character for season 2. She confirms fans will see one character set to appear in upcoming episodes.

"They worked with us all during filming their second season," Sauls recalls. "We're excited about the tease."

'Terrifier' will drench you in warm blood, pump in smell of poop, and debut new Art kills

Halloween Horror Nights has long gleefully disgusted guests. A vomit smell emanated from 2024's *Insidious* house, while a *Texas Chainsaw Massacre *Hollywood haunt included the scent of rotting flesh.

Like the movies, the *Terrifier* house pushes sensory limits — including smell *and* touch.

Sauls confirms the hacksaw kill — where Art sawed someone in half from her nether regions — will appear, along with new kills that resulted from working with director Damien Leone.

They'll also douse attendees in waves of warm water (complete with an iron smell to mimic blood) in the finale that, on a trial run, soaked Sauls' hair and feet. It's the scent that lingers, though.

"[The feces smell] sticks to you. It clings to your clothes, to the walls — even when that house isn't going, it smells," she says. "Not only are the water effects leveled up, [but] we have smells representing the second film, in a scene where Art scalped his victim and poured bleach and salt on the body."

Movies, TV shows, singers (2022 featured a Weeknd house), and games (2023 included a* Last of Us* haunt) aren't the only entities that come to life at HHN. This year, the team devised a WWE house based on the late Bray Wyatt's Wyatt Sicks characters.

EW's exclusive look at the WWE: The Horrors of Wyatt Sicks house includes references to the origin story of their *Firefly Fun House* children's TV show and a tribute to Wyatt, who died in 2023, with the WWE star's signature lantern atop a chair out front.

"We have more video than any other house we've ever done. At one point, you go through a TV tunnel where you're surrounded by multiple video screens [featuring] 10 wrestlers through WWE history," Sauls reveals.

Horror Nights excels with original houses, too. This year's experience showcases icy terrors (Gálkn: Monsters of the North), murderous toys (Dolls: Let's Play Dead), bounty hunters stalking "lava demons" (Hatchet and Chains), and the gorgeous El Artista: A Spanish Haunting.

The story chronicles a 19th-century Spanish manor where "a tortured artist" seeks inspiration, "but the art comes alive and possesses him."

Finally, when asked about future franchises coming to HHN — including a long-rumored *Scream* house — Sauls remains optimistic.

"We'd love to work with that property," she says. "We like to keep all cards on the table to see what falls. We'd love to work with any huge horror properties that we, as creators, are big fans of!"
