Kevin Bacon is raising the bar for birthday gifts this year. In celebration of his wife Kyra Sedgwick's 60th birthday, the *Footloose *star took some inspiration from the brood of farm animals at their home in Connecticut.

On Tuesday, Bacon shared a video on Instagram of him surprising Sedgwick with their newest family members — two baby cows named Tater and Tot.

"When the love of your life has a big birthday, sometimes it's important to think long and hard about something that she might really like, but she doesn't really need," Kevin said in the video, which shows him in the barn with the two adorable cows. "So happy birthday!"

The video then cuts to a clip of Sedgwick walking to the barn to meet the cows for the first time, with the newly turned 60-year-old actress saying, "I'm excited to see my birthday presents."

Unsurprisingly, the *Closer *star instantly fell in love with the cows the moment she laid eyes on them.

"Oh my gosh! Hi, you beauties! It's so nice to meet you," Sedgwick cooed as she bent down to greet the cows on their level. "Look at how handsome you are. Look at how beautiful you are!"

The next clip showed Bacon and Sedgwick feeding their new barn residents together, before the video ended with a shot of Sedgwick hugging Tater and Tot.

"A milestone birthday could only call for two things... Meet Tater & Tot! Happy birthday, @kyrasedgwickofficial you deserve the world, and more. I love you!" Bacon captioned the sweet video.**

Tater and Tot join the bevy of animals that Bacon and Sedgwick host on their farm, which includes goats, pigs, alpacas, ponies, and more. In the past, the 67-year-old actor has shared videos of himself serenading the animals on the farm.**

The couple — who will celebrate their 37th wedding anniversary on Sept. 4 — have shared numerous videos of themselves singing, dancing, and generally being unproblematic delights on social media for years now.

Just last month, for Bacon's birthday, the *Footloose *star showed off some of his moves in a video, which proclaimed he was "shimmying into 67."

Bacon captioned it, "A little birthday shimmy."

Sedgwick shared her own tribute to her husband alongside a video of the couple pretending to be up to no good.

"Told Kevin I had a surprise for his birthday...don't think this is what he had in mind," the actress wrote. "Happy Birthday @kevinbacon, thanks for being my forever partner in crime!"

Bacon and Sedgwick are also partners — dance partners, that is — in their new film, *The Best You Can*, which debuted in June at the Tribeca Film Festival. It's the couple's first movie together in 20 years.

The film, written and directed by Michael J. Weithorn (*King of Queens*), stars the real-life couple as Stan (Bacon), a home security guard, and Cynthia (Sedgwick), a doctor, who form an unlikely bond when he answers her call about an attempted break-in. Following their initial meeting, the two exchange text messages and become friends.

Though Bacon has said before that he's not always willing to dance on command, particularly at weddings, he was happy to do it with Sedgwick in their new movie. Weithorn told EW that his leading man "didn't require any coaxing" to get out on the dance floor.

"That was part of the whole story as it was written, that they go to this wedding, crash it, and he tries to coax her into doing it and cheer her up that way," Weithorn said. "It takes him a minute to figure out exactly what the dance is, and then they transition from bumping to doing a freeform dance, and so forth."**
