For over a month inside the *Big Brother* house, professional bull rider Rylie Jeffries was riding high. He formed strong connections (and at least two alliances) with fellow players Vince Panaro and Zach Cornell, and he didn't touch the block until his final week. He also began a showmance with Katherine Woodman. Everyone loved Rylie!

Outside of the house, it was a different story. Fans were unnerved by the way Rylie often talked to Katherine — ordering her to sit down, telling her he didn't like the tone of her voice, informing her he was going to marry her whether she liked it or not. He also had harsh words about fan favorite Rachel Reilly after the former champ put him up as a replacement nominee when Lauren Domingue took Vince off the block (even though Rachel told Lauren she would do exactly that).

Rylie's time in the *Big Brother* house came to an end last week when he prematurely locked in his score of 29 in the BB Block Buster competition, even though Mickey Lee had a higher score of 38. He was then voted out over Morgan Pope when Vince and Ava decided to go with the other side of the house.

Rylie was shell-shocked by America's reaction to his time in the game, leading to the cancellation of what should have been his regular exit press interviews on Friday as he came to terms with the response. ** was able to connect with Rylie over email to get his take on his BB Block Buster blunder, his relationship with Katherine, his thoughts on Rachel, and more.

**: Rylie, help me understand: Why would you lock in your BB Block Buster score with over a minute left without first looking at Mickey's score to see if you needed to beat it? **

**RYLIE JEFFREIS:** I was standing in the middle looking at both, but my attention got more focused on Morgan because she was throwing a higher score, so I was just trying to see when I needed to grab my ball or lock in my answer, and I totally lost track of Mickey behind me.

**Which votes surprised you the most?**

The votes that surprised me the most would be Vince and Ava.

**Vince had final-two or ride-or-die deals with almost half the house, including you and the person who took him off the block. What do you make of that?**

To each their own. Everybody has their own ways of playing the game, and having multiple alliances was best for his game.

**You were really mad at Rachel for putting you up as a replacement nomination and said some pretty harsh things about her after she did so. Why were you so mad at Rachel after she tried really hard to get Lauren to *not* use the Veto and was very up front and told Lauren that if she used it, she would put you up instead?**

Rachel gave me her word — not just once, but multiple times throughout the season. She pulled me and Katherine aside and promised she'd never put either of us up, that she wanted to work with us, and that she'd never come between the showmance. So to be blindsided like that...it really hurt.

It's one thing to make a game move, but it's another to look someone in the eye and promise safety, only to go back on it. I trusted her, and that's what stings the most, being lied to by someone you believed in.

**You called Rachel out for lying in the game as someone who has kids. Should moms not be allowed to play *Big Brother*?**

I believe moms have every right to play *Big Brother*, and there has been multiple moms that have played this game. I just trusted her, and it really hurt that she wasn't honest.

**Many viewers have been upset by your behavior with Katherine in the house, calling it controlling; for example, telling her to sit down, saying you don't like the tone of her voice, informing her that "I'm being with you outside of here whether you like it or not," etc. We'd like to give you a chance to address those concerns. **

I understand how things may have come across, but I speak with passion. I love with my whole heart, and maybe that intensity was misunderstood. I would never intentionally disrespect anyone, especially Katherine. I respect her deeply, and she's her own person, makes her own choices. I think some moments just don't reflect who I truly am. My intentions have always come from a place of care and loyalty, not control.

**What was your reaction upon hearing how fans have reacted to your behavior in the house?**

It's heartbreaking to be misunderstood. People online don't know me, but my friends, family, fellow Houseguests, and Katherine do, and that's what's important. I spent every day in that house with people who truly know me, who see the real me: someone who's loving, funny, and full of heart. It hurts to be painted as aggressive when all I've ever done is lead with passion and care.

**Anything else you want people to know about you and your *Big Brother* experience? **

Being part of *Big Brother* was a blessing, and I'm truly grateful for the friendships and memories I've made. I'm a God-fearing, big-hearted man who wears his emotions openly. I love deeply, and I lead with kindness. It's painful to see people online twist that into something negative. The version of me being spread isn't who I am, and I wish people would see past the false claims.
