Love Is Blind's "Sparkle Megan" is enjoying being a new mom
During her conversation with fellow Love Is Blind alum Amber Desiree "AD" Smith, the reality star opened up about motherhood

Megan Walerius, known affectionately as "Sparkle Megan," is enjoying motherhood.
In a teaser for the new episode of What's the Reality? podcast, hosted by fellow Love Is Blind alum Amber Desiree "AD" Smith, the new mom, 35, opened up about being a mom to son Brooks. Walerius tells Smith, 33, that motherhood has "far exceeded my expectations."

Later in the short clip, Walerius talks about her relationship with partner Paul, whom she began dating after her split from then-fiancé Jordan Keltner, and shares her reaction to finding out she was going to be a mom.
"When we first got pregnant, I think I just freaked out with how like real it got and how quick it was going," she admits.
The reality star first announced her surprise baby news during the season 9 Love Is Blind reunion on Wednesday, Oct. 29, while reflecting on her previous doubts about her ability to be a stepmom to Keltner's 5-year-old son Luca.
"Today I actually have a little bit of a surprise," Walerius began. "I am a mom now. I had a baby boy 2-and-a-half months ago."
She called the newborn "my whole world," adding, "I now know more than ever I was meant on this earth to be a mom. He's amazing and our family is very happy."

Walerius' partner, Paul, was also in attendance, supporting her from the audience. She explained that they were introduced by a friend three months after she wrapped the Netflix series, and they got pregnant three months into dating.
"We had our ups and downs," she admitted. "I'm not going to say it was perfect. But Paul has been amazing, and we're very happy."
"I'm definitely learning to be a lot more selfless," Walerius went on to say. "I think that becoming a mom is the ultimate act of selflessness. It's given me a lot more empathy, too, for Jordan and being a single dad. I applaud Jordan for even doing this experiment and putting his heart out there. It's really special."

While all their castmates were just learning the news, Keltner shared that he and Walerius spoke prior to the taping.
"I had some disgusting person reach out to me on Instagram pretty much trying to stir the pot, so I just reached out to Megan," he said. "She was very transparent, which I appreciate. If I would've found out right here, right now I think that would have been jarring, so I appreciate the transparency and the honesty. You're gonna be great parents, and I have no doubt in my mind about that."
She noted that "it was hard" to keep her pregnancy a secret, but she was still able to enjoy it. She even had a baby shower, which she kept phone-free.
"Being cast into the limelight now, I just wanted to have my pregnancy and the start of Brooks' life for us to have in private," she said.
