Life is imitating art for *Emily in Paris *costars Ashley Park and Paul Forman.

Their characters, Mindy and Nico, went their separate ways in last year's season 4, and now PEOPLE has confirmed that the two have ended their own off-screen romance after almost two years together.

The pair were seen holding hands in October 2023, but it wasn't until January 2024 that they confirmed that they were together, the magazine noted.

Park shared an emotional post about a recent health scare, in which she was hospitalized. While she thanked her medical team, she said she was "grateful most of all to @peforman for being unconditionally by my side through all this. You calmed my fears and held me through ambulances, three foreign hospitals, a week in the ICU, scary ERs, countless scans and tests and injections, excruciating pain, and so much confusion all while we were alone on the other side of the world far from those we know. I love you Paul. More than I can ever say."

Her words were accompanied by photos of him in her hospital room, kissing her on the forehead, holding her hand, and fixing her hair.**

At the season premiere of the show at the Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles in August 2024, Forman said he felt "like the luckiest man in the world." He said he'd felt an affinity for her even before they began dating.**

"She's so generous, so supportive," Forman said. "As a fellow castmate, I'm so lucky to be working with her — our relationship aside."**

Forman and Park are part of an ensemble on the Netflix series that also includes Lily Collins, Lucas Bravo, Lucien Laviscount, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Bruno Gouery, and Samuel Arnold. It follows Collins' Emily, an American marketing executive sent to the French capital, where she finds a new life and loves.

The second part of the season is set to debut on the streamer Dec. 18.
