- Apple TV+'s comedy series* Loot *returns for season 3 on Wednesday, Oct. 15.

- * *has an exclusive first look at the season featuring guest star Henry Winkler, among others.

- Star and executive producer Maya Rudolph previews the season of growth and Winkler's wealthy character.

Molly Wells is reeling from the heartbreak of a billionaire ambush and public declaration of love gone awry in* *'s exclusive first look at season 3 of *Loot*.

The reformed billionaire, played by Emmy winner Maya Rudolph, is in for another season of growth once the Apple TV+ comedy returns on Oct. 15. Last we saw her, Molly's efforts to take down billionaires was foiled by an unceremonious coup led by fellow billionaire Norman Lofton (Allan Havey), who was none too pleased with her public proclamation that the uber-wealthy shouldn't exist.

Adding insult to injury, Molly's long-awaited declaration of love for Arthur (Nat Faxon) also blew up in her face, after the latter's girlfriend walked in on them mid-impassioned kiss. With assistant and bestie Nicholas (Joel Kim Booster) by her side, Molly indignantly hits up the private jet and demands to be any place but here, landing, it seems, on a deserted island — her collection of Valentino in tow.**

Molly is very much "running away from her problems," Rudolph, also an executive producer, previews to EW of the new season. "The last time we saw Molly, she was ready to throw everything away and start over. She's just so humiliated and sad and wants a change. She's genuinely ready to start anew."

Starting anew, however, requires some hard lessons. "She's learning that some of the people are not the friends she thought they were in this world of billionaires," adds Rudolph. "She's always trying to be on the right side of history. And so she's always trying to clean up messes that are right in front of her. That's sort of what ends up becoming the tone with Molly [this season], she's trying to right the wrongs."**

That involves venturing outside of the Wells Foundation and into the real world, and discovering how other people live. "The more she ventures out of her close-knit circle, the more she meets these fellow billionaires and all the characters that come along with that," she says. Enter: the incomparable Henry Winkler, making his debut this season as a guest star. Consider him a "dream" collaborator for Rudolph. **

"We brought in people we love to play all of these different characters," Rudolph says of the guest stars, adding of Winkler, "Just to actually be in the scenes with him was my absolute dream come true."

Other season 3 guest stars include D'Arcy Carden, Zane Phillips, and X Mayo. Adam Scott (as Molly's estranged ex-husband John Novak) and Stephanie Styles will also return as guest stars, alongside a returning cast that also includes Michaela Jaé Rodriguez and Ron Funches. **

As for Molly's endearing will-they or won't-they relationship with Arthur, Rudolph remains mum about how that progresses this season. "The element of Molly and Arthur is something that we love so much on the show," she says. "They're hard to keep away from, and obviously they work together, so I don't think they'll ever be too far away from each other."**
