The 39-year-old *Osbournes* alum blasted Roger Waters after the Pink Floyd bassist made disparaging remarks about his dad, Ozzy Osbourne, who died in July, and his band Black Sabbath in a recent interview.**

"Hey @rogerwaters, f--- you," Jack wrote on social media on Tuesday. "How pathetic and out of touch you've become. The only way you seem to get attention these days is by vomiting out bulls--- in the press."

He continued, "My father always thought you were a c--t — thanks for proving him right. 🤡 #f---rogerwaters."**

Waters called out Ozzy — who died of a heart attack on July 22 — and his behavior during a recent interview with *The Independent Ink*. **

"Ozzy Osbourne, who just died, bless him in his... whatever that state that he was in his whole life. We'll never know," Waters said. "Although he was all over the TV for hundreds of years with his idiocy and nonsense. The music, I have no idea. I couldn't give a f---."

He went on to trash Black Sabbath, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame–inducted band Ozzy co-founded with Tommy Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward. **

"I don't care about Black Sabbath. I never did," Waters declared. "I have no interest in [screaming or] biting the heads off chickens or whatever they do. I couldn't care less, you know."

The interviewer then interrupted Waters to note that Ozzy infamously bit the head off a bat on stage rather than a chicken. "That's even worse, isn't it?" Waters replied. "I don't know. Is it worse to bite the head off a bat or a chicken? They're both pretty tricky, aren't they?"

A true heavy metal pioneer, Ozzy was laid to rest in a private ceremony in his hometown of Birmingham, England, on July 30. Before the burial, his friends, family, and fans united for an emotional funeral procession that visited multiple significant locations from his life, including Villa Park, the site of the final Black Sabbath concert.

Jack later paid tribute to his dad and his legacy in a poignant Instagram post. "I haven't really wanted to post anything since the passing of my father. My heart has hurt too much," he wrote. "I'm gonna keep this short because he certainly hated long rambling speeches. He was so many things to so many people, but I was so lucky and blessed to be apart [sic] of a very small group that got to call him 'Dad.'"**

He continued, "My heart is full of so much sadness and sorrow, but also so much love and gratitude. I got 14,501 days with that man and I know that is such a blessing."
