This week on *Bachelor in Paradise*, the six remaining couples endured a camping-themed challenge, and Kat had several freak-outs about bugs.

**Relationship Test No. 1: **It's glamping time, mofos! All the couples have to do is spend (part of) the night under the stars — after setting up their own camping sites and dealing with what host Jesse Palmer calls "a series of annoyances and pitfalls" while they do it. (Think: Wet matches, faulty air mattresses, empty cans of bug spray.) Meanwhile, relationship therapist Dr. Laura Berman will be observing the couples from the comfort of the control room. After the test is over, Dr. Berman will have a group session with the couples and then determine the winner. Like last week, the winning couple will have immunity, and the group will vote to determine which couple goes home.

Keith's homesick, but Kathy wants to keep the party going

If the edit is accurate, these two are the first to set up their tent. "Fortunately, Goldens — we know how to get a job done."

In her evaluation the next day, Dr. Berman praised how well Keith and Kathy communicated with each other. Still, she noted that Keith and Kathy are just friends, "and this is a place to find love."

Plus, Keith is starting to feel really homesick, and by the time the rose ceremony rolls around, he's telling people that he's ready to be sent back to America.

Dale Keeps his cool while Kat bugs out big time

Kat's rough week began even before the Relationship Test. At the fancy beachside dinner production set up for contestants the night before, Kat is just about to dig into her meal when she's "swarmed" (her words) by flies.

Kat is attacked by flies on 'Bachelor in Paradise'.

Shrieking, squealing, slapping people in the face with her napkin — Kat, who says she has a "phobia" about bugs, does it all. This, dear readers, is called foreshadowing. Once she and Dale make it to the camp site, with the horse poop and the bugs and the busted everything, it didn't take long for Kat to completely lose it

Kat and Dale on 'Bachelor in Paradise'

Kat and Dale cope with camping stress on 'Bachelor in Paradise'.

"They're crawling everywhere," she sobs. "Dale, I can't do this!" For his part, Dale feels "helpless," but he manages to stay calm rather than telling Kat to shut the eff up (which is what I was doing from my couch).

His response impressed Dr. Berman, too. "You were doing everything within your power to help her," she tells Dale. That said, the doctor wants Dale to know that he's not always going to be able to solve the problems in a relationship — a.k.a. be "the hero" — and in those instances, he's going to have to avoid the urge to "shut down or get angry." Since Kat and Dale managed to help each other through bug-infested campsite hell, Dr. Berman awards them as the winners of the Relationship Test. Enjoy your bug-free date on the beach, kids!

Jeremy and Bailey have alignment issues

Camping is not Bailey's jam. "I'm afraid of the dark, and I'm afraid of bugs, and I'm in the dark with bugs," she laments. "I don't do camping; I just do luxury." Jeremy, meanwhile, loves roughing it and adventure. "I've never built a tent. I have gone camping in a pre-built tent in Peru," he says. "I've also, like, slept on cement floors in Guatemala. So, this is fun!"

Given all that, Dr. Berman suggests that Jeremy and Bailey might not be "aligned" as a couple. Sure, they have chemistry — but they may not want the same things in life. Jeremy takes the feedback in stride: "That is not true, and I couldn't disagree with her more!"

Spencer and Jess face a time crunch

Finally, some conflict! No, Paradise's OG lovebirds didn't get into a huge fight during the camping test, nor did Dr. Berman say their relationship was doomed. But at long last, Jess and Spencer disagree about something: Their timeline for having kids. Spencer, who is 30, wants to start a family within two years. Jess, meanwhile, who is 26 now, wants to be having kids by the time she's 30. In other words, rose lovers, the baby math ain't mathing.

Also, Spencer wants them to move in together pronto, but Jess isn't ready; she already moved for a man once, and that jabroni ended up cheating on her — twice! "We don't have to jump four steps ahead," she tells Spencer.

Alexe and Andrew finally Open Up™

The two managed to set up their camp ok, but Andrew almost lost it trying to figure out how to open the water jug that came with their supplies. "I'm not gonna lie — my patience was tested," he admits. Alexe, meanwhile, was laughing so hard she thought she was going to pee her pants.

Laughing with your partner is all well and good, says Dr. Berman the next day, but she informs the couple that she "didn't really feel the chemistry" between them. Ouch!

After they've had some time to absorb the doctor's observations, Alexe and Andrew have a heart-to-heart about their relationship. They both know they have "walls up," but they both want to push past their fears and admit they have real feelings for each other. "When I say, 'I love you,' I will mean it," Andrew assures her. "And I will always protect you." Then they exchange mutual "I love yous," and end the conversation with a smooch.

Jonathon and Lea keep coasting

To be honest, not much happened with these two this week. They managed the camping challenge fine, and Dr. Berman said their communication was fine — but as she also said, "This is a place to find love."  Clearly, the vote was always going to come down to Jonathon and Lea or the other friendship couple, Kathy and Keith.

And the couple going home is...

Oh, it was a close one, rose lovers. Palmer announces that the vote is tied between Keith and Jonathon, and so it's up to Dale — as one-half of the winning couple — to decide which man would get the final rose. Turns out Dale is still salty over Jonathon flirting with Kat earlier in the season when he was still trying to find a love connection, so he sends our medium king home.

**Relationship Test No. 2: "Sharp Opinions"**

Alexe stabs the Kat mannequin on 'Bachelor in Paradise'

Alexe stabs the Kat mannequin on 'Bachelor in Paradise'.

In this test, Jesse will ask the couples a series of "very pointed questions," like "Who has the biggest co-dependency issues?" or "Whose trust issues will eventually sour the relationship?" Each player will then anonymously choose who they believe is the best answer to the question — by stabbing a dagger into a mannequin that represents said contestant. The couple with the fewest combined number of daggers in their mannequins will be granted immunity. Meanwhile, two couples will be sent home after a group vote.

But we'll have to wait until next Monday to find out which four contestants will be headed home. The episode ends after Jesse announces Andrew and Alexe as the "Sharp Opinions" challenge — and we get an epic preview of the *Bachelor in Paradise* season 10 finale next week. (Not producers bringing back the Parliament of Paradise, LOL!)

Meet you back here on Monday, rose lovers.

The *Bachelor in Paradise* season 10 finale airs Tuesday, Sept. 2 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.**
