Tyra Banks used to hand out fashion contracts as part of the* America's Next Top Model* prize package. Now? She's in the business of protecting her son from video games with a parenting contract she's asked him to sign.
The 51-year-old supermodel and budding ice cream franchise mogul is cohosting *Today With Jenna & Friends* with Jenna Bush Hager this week. During Monday's episode, the pair discussed summer parenting advice with Dr. Aliza Pressman.
Banks kicked off the segment by half-jokingly telling Pressman that she's "suffering" with regard to her son York, 9, and his recent interest in video games after her significant other introduced several popular titles into their home.

"I had a 'no video games in my house' rule. Then, my significant other, the stepfather of my child, he introduced *Roblox* and — what's the video game with all the squares? *Minecraft*!" Banks said on the show. "And now my son is addicted!"
Banks said she then "called Gwyneth," which she explained is her ChatGPT program that she's nicknamed after actress Gwyneth Paltrow.
"I was like, 'ChatGPT, what do I do?' She suggested a contract. So, I made a contract. You can only do these days, you can only do these hours, you have to earn it with chores, homework, blah, blah, blah," Banks described. "He signed it. It's like it never existed. What do I do?"

Pressman suggested holding her son to the consequences of the contract, which Banks said is sometimes hard to do as a working mother with a busy schedule.
"If you do a contract, make sure you can live up to the contract on your end," Pressman later added. "They can break the rules, but then you keep your boundaries."
Banks then turned to the camera to deliver a lighthearted decree: "Do you hear me, my child? No more *Roblox* and that square thing on the weekdays!"
Banks' reveal came weeks after another parental development in the model's life. She made her mother, Carolyn London, cry tears of joy over the unveiling of her SMiZE & DREAM ice cream brand's flagship store in Sydney.

The shop is dedicated to London, who told Banks in an emotional video previewing the space that it made her think of the times they spent in Los Angeles, sharing ice cream and their dreams for the then-aspiring model's famous future.
Banks' guest-hosting stint on *Today With Jenna & Friends *comes after she fulfilled a similar role on the show in April, which itself came nearly 10 years after she permanently hosted her last major talk show, *FABLife*, which launched in 2015. She previously won two Daytime Emmys for *The Tyra Banks Show*, which ran from 2005-2010.
