It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's not Superman — it's Frank Grillo's plane landing safely at LAX.
The *Superman* and *Captain America: Civil War* alum was among the 226 passengers who safely touched down at the Los Angeles airport on Friday afternoon, when Delta flight 446 was forced to make an emergency landing due to an engine fire.
Days after the incident, Grillo took to Instagram to address the scary landing and the kismet conversation he had just before boarding his flight.
While walking through LAX that Friday, Grillo crossed paths with a TMZ reporter who asked him to identify his most aspirational goal. "To make sure all my kids are good before I die," he replied. The outlet has since posted the actor's comments, which he re-shared to his Instagram stories.
"When it ain't your time, it ain't your time," Grillo captioned the article, with the prayer hands emoji. "#GodIsGood."**

The Boeing 767-400 took off from LAX and was headed to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) when it turned back due to an issue with the left engine. The FAA has confirmed it is currently investigating the matter.
Grillo previously addressed the landing in another Instagram Stories post, which has since expired. "This was my flight to Atlanta Friday," he wrote above an article reporting the incident. "Thankfully our pilot got us back to LAX safely. However… Delta did little upon landing to help passengers and offered me a $12 voucher. Disgusting service. Shame on you, #Delta."

In a statement to **, a spokesperson for the airline said, "As nothing is more important than the safety of our customers and people, the flight crew followed training and procedures to safely return to the airport. We appreciate the patience of our customers as our teams worked to get them on their way with another aircraft later Friday and we apologize to them for the experience."
Representatives for Grillo did not immediately respond to EW's request for comment.
The flight caught the attention of social media users on Friday afternoon, even before it touched back down at LAX. A camera operator for "L.A. Flights," a YouTube channel that livestreams planes coming in and out of the airport, happened to catch footage of Delta 446 just as its engine caught fire. Video shows the plane soaring into the sky and after a few moments, flames begin shooting out of its left engine.
"Whoa," the camera operator responded. "What's going on?"

Keeping the camera trained on the plane as it continued its ascent, they remarked, "Hang on, that's not good. That's not good, guys." Minutes later, the video sees the plane landing safely and quickly being approached by fire trucks.**
