Hunter Biden is calling out George Clooney for his 2024 op-ed asking Joe Biden to bow out of the presidential race against Donald Trump.
In the midst of a rare and wide-ranging interview, the former president's son got heated while addressing Clooney's *New York Times* op-ed titled, "I Love Joe Biden, but We Need a New Nominee," which questioned his father's age and health in the midst of his run for a second term.
"F--- him! F--- him and everybody around him," Hunter told Channel 5's Andrew Callaghan, launching into a lengthy tirade: "I don't have to be f---ing nice. No. 1, I agree with Quentin Tarantino. F---ing George Clooney is not a f---ing actor. He is f---ing like… I don't know what he is. He's a brand. And by the way, God bless him. You know what? He supposedly treats his friends really well: buys them things, and he's got a really great place in Lake Como, and he's great friends with Barack Obama."
Despite praising Clooney's generosity, he continued cursing the actor, arguing that he had no place to criticize the former president's campaign.

"What do you have to do with f---ing anything? Why do I have to f---ing listen to you?," Biden continued. "What right do you have to step on a man who's given 52 years of his f---ing life to the service of this country and decide that you, George Clooney, are going to take out basically a full page ad in the f---ing *New York Times* to undermine the president?"
Implying that Clooney's op-ed only divided the Democratic party further, he added, "Why do you think that the Republicans have an advantage over us? Because they're unified."

Last year, the Oscar-winning actor and producer was one of several political and Hollywood figures who called for the president to end his re-election bid. Like others, Clooney pointed to Biden's much maligned performance at a June 27 debate. But he also called upon his longtime friendship with the politician and recalled a fundraiser run-in that made his concerned about Biden's ability to win the election and serve another presidential term.
"It's devastating to say it, but the Joe Biden I was with three weeks ago at the fundraiser was not the Joe 'big F---ing deal' Biden of 2010," Clooney wrote in his essay. "He wasn't even the Joe Biden of 2020. He was the same man we all witnessed at the debate."
The following year, a book about Biden's re-election campaign from CNN anchor Jake Tapper and Axios reporter Alex Thompson claimed that Biden failed to recognize Clooney at the event, until an aide leaned in to tell the president who the actor was. But Hunter was quick to refute this claim, arguing that at large events where the president is meeting several people, introductions are the norm.
"There's a person that stands next to the president, and they say, 'Mr. President, George Clooney and Julia Roberts,'" Hunter said. "He may know George for the last 30 years, and he may have met him 15 times, but the guy on his shoulder, who's usually a military officer, has one job. To say the name of the person that's walking up. That's it."

He further claimed that Clooney "made up" a story about "how the president had to be introduced to him" in order to "rationalize why he attempted to cut the knees out from the most successful president in the history of his party."
Hunter added, "By the way, I remember that George Clooney wasn't going to show up to that fundraiser. He was bitching to the White House staff that he was so angry that the president would criticize the arrest warrant that was executed for [Israeli prime minister Benjamin] Netanyahu."

He stated that this was likely due to the fact that Clooney's wife, Amal, penned an expert report supporting an arrest warrant for Netanyahu.
"He was very, very angry that my dad did not pay homage to her or something," Hunter claimed. "And I understand defending your wife, but I saw the text messages that he wrote, reams of text messages like, 'How dare he do that.' And he kept promising that he was going to embarrass the president and pull out of the fundraiser."
Representatives for Clooney did not immediately respond to **'s request for comment.
Elsewhere in his conversation, Hunter offered his own explanation for Biden's performance at the turning-point debate last June, claiming he knows "exactly what happened" to cause his father's poor performance.
"He flew around the world, basically the mileage he could have flown around the world three times," Hunter claimed. "He's 81 years old. He's tired as s---. They give him Ambien to be able to sleep. He gets up on the stage, and he looks like a deer in the headlights."
